At All Things Earthly, we believe in the power of connections and the wisdom we can gain from each other. Today, we’re delighted to share the empowering words of Gail, a remarkable mental health practitioner and one of our cherished customers.
What inspired you to start your business, and how does it align with your passion and values? As a mental health professional in the clinical space , it’s been my desire to see recovery happen not just in the minds of many women but in their souls…something so wonderful happens to see a rose start bud and bloom right in front of your eyes. As an author, a Chaplain and an activist in the GBV space, it’s still something special with the creative ability that comes with “Empowering Her ” to be her best self…whoever HER IS!
As a female entrepreneur/founder, what challenges have you faced, and how did you overcome them to create a successful brand? I am a New Yorker by birth and when LIVING in the states the biggest challenge with owning my own music production company as a female in a sea of men was to be more interested in being respected for my skill not just liked. RESPECT is almost everything. Never ever compromise your principles…never settle for less than your best.
How do you incorporate sustainability and ethical practices into your business model, and what impact do you hope to make on the community? My community…to impact one life one day at a time with a word, a smile, a silent prayer. Sustainability comes with being consistent. SAY WHAT YOU MEAN AND MEAN WHAT YOU SAY.
What advice do you have for aspiring women entrepreneurs who want to start their own business and make a positive impact on the world?
Focus on the impact you desire to make first. Keep it simple and then your heart and your soul, where pure integrity rests, will lead the way.
We’re continually learning from Gail and look forward to our long-lasting relationship with her.
