Justin, Neighbourhood Farm, will share his insights on how to improve our broken food system.
10h00 – 11:00: Indigenous Gardening Talk
Nadine, Urban Rewilding Nursery, will share her knowledge and passion about creating biodiverse urban gardens that support the wellbeing of people and wildlife.
10:00 and 12:00: Heaps of Compost Talk
Andre, self-taught gardener and keen home cook, offers his tips on home composting. He believes soil creation and care is of utmost importance to all life on earth. When he is not making heaps of compost, he is thinking of making heaps of compost.
10:00 – 12:00: Kids Creative Workshop (6 – 10yrs)
Learn and love food, a creative garden day facilitated by Madeleen Munting. Get your hands dirty in the soil and create a water colour painting to take home. R150/child and R100/siblings. Booking is essential: 082 062 9591
