When sitting down to think of an organisation we would like to support, Masicorp jumped top of the list. What resonates with us is their focus on education and their real understanding of the needs of the people in the Masiphumelele township.
Masicorp – Partners in Education for Life
Founded in 1999 by John and Carol Thompson, Masicorp was established to help make a real difference in the lives of the Masiphumelele township residents. Masicorp has opened youth centres, day care centres, and libraries. Masicorp currently runs educare centres to provide ECD education to the children of Masiphumelele. It supports all ages, from pre-school right through to adulthood, providing the necessary education to support learning and growth.
Masicorp aims to provide a safe space for the youth to get better opportunities to help them make better choices and break the circle of the poverty that affects their everyday lives. Masicorp are trying to help these youth reach their full potential, enabling them to become better skilled and well informed with a supportive structure to improve their academic performance.

Since Masicorp relies on donations (both monetary and in the form of supplies), we’re calling on you to help us raise these donations in the spirit of giving.
