9:00 – 13:00 ALL THINGS EARTHLY TASTER MARKET
Meet local suppliers and learn why they are who they are and how they bring the best in health and wellness to the South African community.
9:00 & 12:00 EDIBLE EDUCATION FARM TOUR
Neighbourhood Farm Allotment holder Brian Joffin, well known Biodynamic urban farmer, will give tours of the farm and all its projects. Brian works with Benson Arendse who runs one of the compost making sites on the Farm.
10:00 & 12:00 URBAN REWILDING
Join Nadine from the Urban Rewilding nursery for a plant sale and fynbos tea tasters.
10:30 – 12:00 KIDS INTERACTIVE GARDEN WORKSHOP
Explore your Neighbourhood farm. We will go on a walk around the farm, design our own gardens, learn a little about compost, plants and insects in the garden. We will make our own tea and read a story. Afterwards, we will plant our own seeds and an edible herb to take home.
Cost is R150 per child.

11:00 – 12:00 REGENERATIVE GARDENING – THE SUBTLE WAY
Charl Pienaar (MSc Agric) is a practicing Alchemist, passionate and very experienced in plant breeding, agricultural research, soil microbes and earthworm farming. He will share brilliant solutions in respect of low external input sustainable agriculture methodologies.
12:00 – 13:00 COMPOST MAKING WORKSHOP
Andre, self taught gardener and keen home cook, offers his tips on home composting. He believes that soil creation and care is of utmost importance to all life on earth. When he is not making heaps of compost he is thinking of making heaps of compost.
